INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES

The college is situated in the district of Purba Medinipur. The building of the institution has the College office, staffroom, classrooms and methods lab, ICT room, General lecture halls, library, seminar room, Health and Physical education room, Music room, Store room, science lab, social science lab, and language lab, Psychological lab and Multipurpose hall, Guest room, Canteen.

LABORATORIES / RESOURCE CENTERS

B.Ed. course is incomplete without an adequate practical experimentation and training in laboratories. At Rashbehari College of Education, great emphasis is laid on practical work. Students gain confidence when they personally handle the instruments, take measurements and analyse the results. It has well equipped laboratories with latest apparatus to facilitate their pupil teachers to freely conduct experiments related to their course subjects.

ICT Resource Center

With various audio-visual aids including computers, television, cassette & CD player, overheadprojectors& screenetc.

Curriculum Laboratory

Comprises of combined Social Science, Science & Mathematics Resource Center -with equipment’s pertaining to all branches of Science – Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Maths Lab models and experiments are also available for students to have hands on experience.

Art & Craft Resource Center:

Students are provided practice of how to make TEACHING AIDS, also students prepare various art & craft material for inhouse activities and notice boards. Etc.

Work & Physical Education Resource

Campus has a big playground. Students play various sports during scheduled periods. Sports equipment’s are available in resource Center and are issued as and when required. Also, YOGA and MEDITATION classes are held on regular intervals to keep the students rejuvenated.

LIBRARY CUM READING ROOM:

Well equipped, computerized LIBRARY with more than1800 titles and 6000 books. Seating cum reading space for more than 50 students. Library is well maintained and managed by qualified and experienced Librarian and Assistant. Every year new titles both curricular and co-curricular are added to the library. The college welcomes subscription to all new referred journals related to education and school subjects. Computer with WIFI internet facilityand books are available for ready reference by both the faculty and student- teacher.

Offices & Other Facilities

To facilitate smooth academic & administrative functioning of the college, separate office chambers are available for President, Secretary, Principal, Teacher in Charge,Head of the Department, Accounts Officerand other supporting administrative staff.
